Our Founding Story
I am Elizabeth White, the founder of NUUage Coliving. I was 62 when I wrote my viral essay “You Know Her,” about my own experience with long-term unemployment and financial insecurity later in life. Thousands responded, “me too.”
In early 2022, I joined the Ideas42 Venture Studio as an entrepreneur where I had the privilege of nurturing and developing my affordable coliving idea. Since then, I've assembled a phenomenal team of architects, real estate professionals, software engineers, and co-living experts.
NUUage Coliving was born out of the recognition that housing is vital for our long-term financial security, overall health, and well-being.
It’s rooted in the idea that pooling our resources and aging together can help us lower our housing costs, combat isolation and loneliness, and build community.
